During the “Circuit Breaker,” we rapidly evolved our protocols, implementing NEA-approved disinfection techniques and rigorous PPE standards for our WDA-trained staff. Surviving the pandemic strengthened our resolve to provide more than just “surface cleaning”—we became a shield for our home & office clients, ensuring their homes and workplaces remained safe havens.

Since the commencement of the NEA Cleaning Business License framework in 2014, this is our 12th year as a fully licensed and compliant service provider. Being among the early adopters of these professional standards allowed us to lead by example, ensuring our clients receive a service that meets the legal and hygienic benchmarks set by the Singapore government.

A Heart for Rescue

Our founder, Gigi, is more than just a business owner; she is a mother of two and a dedicated “bunny slave” who leads with empathy. For the past 9 years, she has personally been on the front lines of animal welfare in Singapore—rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming neglected and abandoned rabbits.

Beyond her leadership at Budget Cleaning, Gigi’s entrepreneurial spirit is driven by a higher purpose. Through her dedicated sideline, Oishi Bunnies, she has successfully raised a substantial amount of money to fund the high costs of rabbit medical care and shelter operations in Singapore.

This commitment goes beyond mere hobbyism. Gigi has transformed her passion into a pillar of our corporate culture. By navigating the complexities of animal rehabilitation, she has developed a unique understanding of what “clean” truly means for a household with living, breathing, and sometimes vulnerable inhabitants.
