HOW TO DECLUTTER YOUR KITCHEN
The kitchen is often the heart of the home, but it can also quickly become cluttered and disorganized.
Remember, decluttering your kitchen is a process that takes time and effort. Start small and work your way up, and don’t be afraid to let go of items that no longer serve a purpose in your life.
The key to decluttering your kitchen is to be ruthless about what you keep and what you get rid of.
By decluttering your kitchen, you can create a more functional and enjoyable space for cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Set a goal
Decide on the level of decluttering you want to achieve. You may want to declutter your entire kitchen or focus on specific areas such as your pantry or utensil drawer.
Sort items
Take everything out of cabinets, drawers, and pantry and sort items into three categories: keep, donate/sell, or throw away. Be honest with yourself about what you actually use and need. Keep similar items together, such as baking supplies or coffee and tea items, so that you can find what you need quickly and easily. Look for items in your kitchen that serve the same purpose and keep only the ones you use the most. For example, if you have several sets of measuring cups, keep only the ones you use regularly and donate or sell the rest.
Organize storage
Once you have sorted through everything, organize your storage spaces in a way that works for you. You can use storage containers, drawer dividers to maximize space. Store items that you use most often in easily accessible areas, such as at eye level or in a drawer that is within reach. Consider using storage solutions such as Lazy Susans, pull-out shelves, or stackable containers to maximize space and keep items organized.

Use vertical space
Use the vertical space in your kitchen to store items. For example, you can use a hanging pot rack to store pots and pans, or a magnetic knife holder to free up counter space.
Minimize appliances
If you have too many appliances cluttering up your kitchen, consider minimizing the number of appliances in the room. Stick to essential items such as a refrigerator, stove, and oven.
Clear surfaces
Remove anything unnecessary from surfaces such as your countertops or table. Limit the items you keep on display to those that bring you joy or serve a specific purpose.
Fridge and Freezer
Declutter your fridge and freezer by removing expired or unused items and organizing them in a way that makes sense to you.
